RACHAEL’S STORY

One of the most beautiful things about life is that no one person’s
perspective or story is the same. As such, some of you may relate to
the following experience, and some may not. This is my story.

I have had the opportunity to revisit some memories recently and come
to the conclusion that being an NHS nurse in the Emergency Department
during 2020 was horrific and has left me with trauma.

Let me explain – imagine an already stretched department, barely time
to pee, trying to do your best to care for people and most days
feeling guilty for not having enough time to really give everyone the
care they deserve, because of a lack of staff. Then being told to
expect an influx of dying patients who would fill the corridors, due
to the lack of beds. A shortage of ICU ventilators will mean that not
everyone who needs one will get one, and a disease so contagious and
deadly that I may be a health threat to my own children and loved ones
when I returned home from each shift.

I fell into fear along with everyone else I knew and debated moving
out of my house and distancing myself from my children to keep them
safe, as some other colleagues did. In the end, I decided I couldn’t
be without them and prayed each day that nothing would happen to them
as a result of my selfishness. I went to the supermarket early in the
morning and when finding myself down an aisle next to an elderly
person, I held my breath – afraid I might cause them to become sick. I
disinfected both my shopping and myself when returning home.

After coming to the realisation that this behaviour was completely
unnecessary, leaving my nursing career in late 2020 and co-founding
the Control Group in 2021, I looked back and laughed at myself for
being so ridiculous. I belittled and insulted myself in my mind and in
so many conversations; telling myself that I was an idiot and stupid
for being fooled and believing what I was told. I could never have
written the previous paragraphs and sent it to thousands of people
without feeling total embarrassment and shame!

However, 2023 has given me a new understanding. The realisation that
at the time, the fear I was living in was REAL. Even if the reality
was exaggerated, it was REAL in my heart, mind and soul and that
leaves huge trauma.

I have learned to be kind and compassionate towards myself. I am no
longer ashamed of those past behaviours. I went through that
experience for a reason and I feel because of that, I can relate to
those still living in fear. We are usually our worst and harshest
critics and if I can learn to accept and be kind towards myself for
behaving in a way that I felt I needed to, to protect my family at the
time, then I truly believe that we can all learn compassion for one
another.

Shedding has been a prominent subject recently. I have heard stories
of people exhibiting the same behaviours I did when I was living in
fear of a ‘deadly virus’; including distancing themselves from their
friends and family members. At present, we don’t know if these fears
are valid, but I can see the further division it has been creating.

Based on my experiences, one of the best ways to stay healthy and
free is to live with love and connection. Connection to ourselves, to
nature and to each other! Do not be afraid. Live gracefully with a
grateful heart. Not everyone is on this planet, at this time, to live
the same journey. We are all here to learn and experience different
things and so we must let go of the mindset that everyone should think
the way we do. Only we have the power to create a future of
understanding, compassion and UNITY for our children. Accept and
respect that others are on a different path and love them for it!

The Control Group are looking for dedicated and active Country
Ambassadors from all over the world to join our team to help us
understand the needs in different regions as well as assisting us to
do some research into a few different topics from time to time. If you
can spare some time and are motivated to get involved with this,

Our aim is to gather a group of people from all over the world who
can represent us in their own country and provide us with the
information we need to support as many people as we can
internationally. This will involve speaking to us via video call so we

A MESSAGE FROM DR TESS LAWRIE OF THE WORLD COUNCIL FOR HEALTH

I have recently returned from The Philippines and have a very
exciting update to share with you about World Council for Health’s
mission and vision.

Much like our wonderful coalition partner The Control Group, World
Council for Health (WCH) is a global, grassroots initiative that was
established to meet a clear need in the midst of the Covid crisis.

Public health authorities clearly appeared to be operating in
lockstep, ignoring the evidence, rubbishing safe, integrative
treatments for Covid, and pushing for a single solution to the crisis:
that of the novel, Covid-19 gene-based injections. A calculated
propaganda campaign included censorship of any evidence-based
perspective that challenged the agenda, and emotional manipulation
that replaced informed consent with coercion. It has since become
starkly clear that the so-called pandemic has been a Trojan Horse for
unelected bodies to push their dystopian vision of a centralised,
one-world system of government. In terms of health, the WHO’s
proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations and
Pandemic Treaty/Accord/Instrument threaten to undermine the
individual’s inalienable rights and would see member nations handing
over health policies to the WHO: an unelected, majority privately
funded organisation.

In the face of this assault, World Council for Health has a clear
message: there is a Better Way! One that puts personal sovereignty at
the very heart of the social contract.
