Dear All,

 

We have been recently awarded the 10km Piping spools fabrication for
the VS Oil terminal (VSOT), Basra Project

 

Please send me the offer for the subcontract of TSA coating in 4900
meter piping spools for VSOT Piping. You need to send the offer in per
meter rate and not lumpsum.

 

SCOPE:

·         Supply of Materials (Includes TSA Wire, Sealer
Coat paint materials, Garnets)

·         Supply of Equipment’s (Blasting, Coating &
Inspection)

·         Coating Location: AI ICAD

·         Accommodation & Food: AI ICAD

 

SPECIFICATION: – PROTECTIVE COATING SYSTEM 2:

SURFACE PREPARATION: SYSTEMS 2

·         The surface to be coated shall be inspected to
determine the presence of oil, grease or other hydrocarbon
contamination or casting residues. If this type of contamination is
present, If present, the surface shall be degreased and then cleaned
down by Water Jetting to remove surface contamination and chloride.

·         All surfaces to be coated shall be cleaned down by
Water Jetting to remove Surface contamination and chloride. Washing
water shall be fresh (potable) water.

·         The surface The carbon steel surface shall then be
Dry Abrasive Blast Cleaned to ISO 8501- 1 (SIS SS 05 59 00) Sa 2.5
Near White Metal Condition

 

COATING SYSTEM:

·         The coating system shall be Thermal Spray applied
Aluminum wire.

·         The coating shall be applied by appropriate
Thermal Spray equipment. The Aluminum shall be applied in even and
uniform passes that allow for a 50% overlap spray technique.

·         Minimum dry film thickness as measured over the
peak of the blast profile shall be 150μm

·         Carry out dry film thickness measurements and any
re-application to increase the film build within 2 hours of the
original application

 

SEALER COAT:

·         The Finish Coat shall be a High Temperature
Resistant Silicone Based Aluminum Coating. Apply the coating by
airless or conventional spray method in one distinct coat to achieve a
recommended minimum dry film thickness of 25 μm per coat.

 

PRIMER : Thermal spray Aluminum (150μm)

FINISH COAT :High Temperature Resistant Silicone Based Aluminum
Coating. 25 microns (μm).

THE TOTAL MINIMUM DRY FILM THICKNESS FOR SYSTEM SHALL BE 175 MICRONS
