My name is Yusof Razak and I am part of the Fragomen team engaged by
Baker Hughes to assist you with a Brunei Special Pass (SP)
application. This will allow you to travel to and work in Brunei for
the duration of your assignment.
You should not make firm travel plans at this point without
contacting us or your employer. Note that your present start date may
be challenging to meet and we do recommend keeping it flexible.
Within three business days
You must log into our secure Fragomen Connect system and activate
your account. You will shortly receive an email from Connect
explaining how to do this. The activation key is only valid for 3 days
after you receive the email. If your activation code has expired,
please contact [email protected]

You must complete a questionnaire and upload these documents:
· Complete the questionnaire in Fragomen Connect
· Copy of passport ID page (Kindly confirm your
passport no ends with 113, expiring Dec 25)
· Up-to-date CV/Resume
· Copies of all academic diplomas or certificates
of graduation
· One (1) passport style photograph (4 cm x 3 cm)
in high resolution
All documents must be in Malay or English . We can assist with
securing translation if necessary. However, note that we only require
a loose translation in the form of a word document or via email.
Immigration officials reserve the right to request additional
documents in support of the application.
Securing a Brunei SP requires the following steps (for your
information only):
1. When we receive all of the required information,
we will prepare your Brunei SP application.
2. We will file your Brunei SP application with the
relevant Brunei Authorities. It takes approximat ely 4-6 weeks upon
filing to process this application and obtain the outcome.
3. Upon approval, we will receive a Brunei SP
Pre-Approval Letter, and we will then provide you with detailed
instructions on the next steps.
If this is your first application for a Brunei SP, you may be
required to conduct a full medical check-up at a stipulated medical
center in your home country prior to travelling to Brunei. The
original medical report must be carried with you to Brunei. Please
find the list of required medical check-up. Depending on present
climate, you may also complete your medical examination matters in
Brunei.
Please also ensure to print out the following form and have the
doctor to fill it up. Please also carry the completed form with you to
Brunei.
4. *IMPORTANT* If this is the first time you are
entering Brunei to work and you do not already have a previous
endorsed medical report, kindly note that you will be required to do
an additional medical checkup at one of Brunei’s stipulated medical
centers.
Prior to your arrival in Brunei, you are to register and to book your
Brunei medical checkup through the BruHealth app that can be found
in your respective device app store

facilitate the booking of your Brunei medical check up matters that is
required for your final SP validity. The steps to follow once you

Step 4: Complete the necessary payments
Step 5: Arrive on the selected date and time for your medical check up
Important note: Only you can complete the booking. No representative
or third-party vendors is allowed to complete the booking on your
behalf.
5. After you arrive in Brunei, you will present the
SP pre-approval letter together with your original passport to the
immigration officer at Counter Number 1. You will request the officer
for a Brunei SP to be endorsed in your passport. The SP stamp is
normally valid for 14 days.
6. Upon receipt of the medical report done in
Brunei (from point 4) and your country of origin, our agent will then
arrange to collect your passport to endorse the Brunei SP up to the
duration granted on the pre-approval and apply for a Multiple-Entry
Visa. The SP endorsement can be done within one day. Thereafter, our
agent will arrange for the return of your passport to you so that you
may continue to work and remain in Brunei.
We will send you detailed instructions for each step.
All dates are estimates and assume that all required documents are
provided to us within the times specified. A delay in providing the
required information may delay the overall application processing.
Estimated processing, travel and work ready dates are based on
overall processing time of prior applications. These projected dates
should be used as a guideline only, as case circumstances and the
processing times of governmental immigration offices can vary widely.
We will contact you immediately if we receive any information during
the process that raises questions about your eligibility or could mean
a delay.
