Important Note:-
Bill of entry for the consignment should be file with the Indian
customs before arrival of Vessel / Flight arrival,
After that penalty will be applied as on Day 1st and upto to
3rd day @ Rs.5000/- per day, After 3rd Day @ Rs.10000/- per day.
Imports duty should be paid within same day of Assessment, after
which customs will apply @ 15 % Interest / annum [P.A] apply on
customs duty
Please arrange to collect documents from Shipper / Forwarders /
Airlines for customs clearance well in advance to avoid incurring any
charges towards late presentation of the bill of entry
Free demurrage period at the Airport is reduced to 48 Hrs instead of
72 Hrs (public holidays excluded).
