   Dearest Nigel

May the Lord continue to motivate, guide and inspire your steps,
ministry and actions within the framework of God’s will. Let us be
light (S.Matthew 5,16) in these moments in which an unexpected war has
been unleashed due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. War that has
indirectly involved the European Community, England, the United
States, Canada, Australia and other countries and world leaders at the
diplomatic level, including Pope Francisco, to seek a way and form to
end this destructive and dangerous war.
The world looks on in disbelief and feels helpless in the face of
this war, and we Christians pray that it ceases and that even greater
dangers on world levels dissipate.
We must note and reflect that in the last three years humanity has
been hit with unforeseeable events that have shaken us and have
largely changed our routine, making us question and reflect on the
importance of life itself. We as Christians and connoisseurs of the
Word of God, know that the Bible announces pestilence and war without
imagining the destructive scope that this could cause. In the light of
reality we can observe, based on the size and threat of the events,
that the prophetic times are quite ripe, therefore it is important to
pray deeply and be on guard to discern the signs of the times.
I see it as essential to indicate that living the Word of Jesus
that He indicated to us in S.Juan 17, removing divisions and
prejudices among Christians, is urgent as never before; Christ foresaw
what was going to happen and that the whole humanity would enter into
a full-scale tribulation. The ability of the children of God is to
organize, unite and act to be light in the midst of darkness,
confusion and despair. It is necessary that we make inspired and giant
steps and jointly spread the Word of God throughout the world and at
all levels so that we hopefully prepare for the second coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
Saint Paul’s words that inspire us to pray without ceasing
(1Thess. 5,17) are precise as never before. Living in the presence and
fullness of God under His complete coverage and leadership, is
essential for all the children of God in this historical and prophetic
stage that we are living and that we will live with more intensity in
the months and years to come.
In this framework of reflections, unity and prayers, I would like to
draw your attention to an extremely inhumane situation that the city
of Mariupol in Ukraine is experiencing. This battalion of around 2,000
soldiers and hundreds of civilians entrenched in steel conduits
already with few supplies of water, food, medicine and no electricity,
where the sick inevitably die. They receive, despite the fact that
President Putin had said to suspend the attacks, between 30 and 50
bombs every night, wounding and killing them little by little with no
way to escape and in practice not to surrender either because they
have no guarantee of international security that their lives be
preserved. Today, faced with this action and decision to assassinate
thousands of soldiers and civilians, I ask you, your community, and
through you your friends, acquaintances and church, so that together
we raise a flag against evil, destruction , hatred, revenge, warlike
arrogance, and let us invoke the name of our Lord Jesus Christ so that
these thousands of people’s lives are not destroyed and a humanitarian
channel is achieved so that soldiers and civilians can be transferred
to a safe place , preferably outside Ukraine. I ask and request your
constant prayer for this Mariupol drama, using any contacts and
relationships at any international level that can influence this to
happen.
Let us pray and have faith that God will be present and that His
love, presence and power will be light for each one of us and for all
humanity

United in the love of Christ receive an affectionate greeting,
Pietro Di Majo
