I got something very similar – but the name and email of the barrister was changed. I had a good laugh – this is so obviously fake.
A good rule of thumb for any strange email or news story – check it out first on a scam watch or fake news website before you believe it (e.g. snopes). I can’t tell you how many people keep forwarding me old recycled untrue stories/fake science that they are in a panic about.
