Attn.

Beneficiary.

COVID-19 pandemic Essential Worker Support Program (EWSP) WorldWide.

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed particular demands on workers in certain sectors, including those on the front-line in hospitals, home care, foundations and nursing homes, those ensuring the integrity of the food supply, shelter or providing essential retail services to the less preveiledge and foundations.

The New found land and Labrador Essential Worker Support Program (EWSP) provides a temporary wage top-up to essential Managers and CEO of Charity homes and Foundations during Alert Level 4 and 5 of the COVID-19 pandemic.

NEW!! Applications for the EWSP have reopened and luckily you have just been selected to receive the maximum gross monthly income increased from $13,000 to $23,500. Increasing the maximum qualifying income threshold will provide financial support to additional essential workers ensuring the integrity of the food supply, shelter or providing essential retail services to the foundation during the pandemic.

This will allow:

Employers that did not previously apply on behalf of eligible essential workers to submit an application;
Employers that previously applied for essential workers can now reapply for those that earned a maximum gross monthly income up to $3,500; and Eligible essential workers can apply directly, if they meet the eligibility criteria and their employer does not apply on their behalf.
