I received an email from Fatima Rajab ” [email protected]” asking for a financial deal. Is this person genuine ?

We are unable to offer individual advice as we do not know the full background of your circumstances and we have no forensic access to your Emails.
We can say @gmail.com address should raise a warning flag. “Asking for a financial deal” – This is where we would need to know more. Are you in a business that would be approached for deals? Is it a generic message that could have been sent to thousands? If it mentions your name or company, has this just been mail merged in from a dodgy mailing list?
If someone wanted to negotiate a deal with me, I would not expect a generic message – I would want to see the person explaining why he specifically wants to deal with my company, a personalised message showing that they have done some research first.
But to be clear, we do not claim to be experts in any field apart from setting up a IT network to capture and publish Emails arriving at a honeypot address. If in doubt, we can only recommend you take professional advice from someone in your local area.
