    1. The email I received was exactly the same except the contact email says revfatherlukejonathan@gmail. com which doesn’t exist, undeliverable…

  1. Thanks for your comment. We are here to help people realise they are not the lucky ones, they are among thousands who have received this same email.

  2. Hi I just received a email as well I cannot believe how low some people can be during this challenging times. I was fooled and I believe it I send them my information now what?!

    1. We are unable to offer individual advice apart from cancel your debit/credit cards if you passed those details on. Contact someone locally for more advice. There is a scam victims forum at https://www.scamwarners.com/ , it is fairly active and someone might respond with better suggestions.

  3. How do you know if an email is legit? With no bank account info asked for no personal identification info asked for or anything? Especially when a bank account askes to find out if it is legitimate?

    1. We know the above Email is not legit because it was sent to a honeypot account. The honeypot account does not belong to a real person. There is no legitimate reason anyone would send an Email to it. We have managed to get it included on a “dark” mailing list normally used by scammers.

We cannot make judgement on Emails delivered to others. All we are doing is publishing the ones we receive in the hope that we can ring alarm bells on those who seem to have received a similar message. It is up to you to make the judgement.
