Hi there, I want to ask whether this website Devils Lips is a scam. ***************** I saw their Hemp CBD oil advertised on theweedtube which made it seem legit. It’s got a fairly decent price and discount for the CBD oil which appeals to me as a student. The last CBD oil I brought cost $210 to be delivered to Australia, and this is advertising saying 60$ for a stronger oil. I suffer from anxiety so know this would help me a lot. But I am concerned whether its a spam.
In the above email he posted a discount code 25ForLife, so I tried it and the code actually works. This concerns me that this scam email address might genuinely linked up to the website. The last thing I want is to get scammed which is why I’m commenting as I would like to know your opinion. Should I buy their CBD Hemp Oil or is it definitely a scam? Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we are unable to give an opinion. We are UK based and have no knowledge or experience on the legitimacy of this type of business.
The Emails we receive have been sent to a honeypot address. This is an Email that has never been used apart from being placed in a location where we knew it would be scraped into a dodgy mailing list. These are the ones traditionally used by the scammers.
99% of the Emails we publish, we are happy to classify as a potential scam. This example is one of the 1% that arrive that we would classify as poor marketing technique. Looking at the content, we cannot deny that it is just a spammed advert to point the recipient to the website.
To summarise: The Email above is a unsolicited spam message. The company involved has not used a responsibly sourced mailing for its marketing purposes. The Email itself is genuine – the links point to the website with nothing covert happening behind the scenes. That is all we can say.
