Hi, how you know that this message is a scam. JJAbreu
We are able to publish these Emails because they arrived at a honeypot Email address which has never been used and therefore should never receive EMails. If we receive an Email, someone has used a mailing list that has been harvested by scraping the web in one form or other.
Considering that a reputable company sending out marketing Emails would use a properly sourced mailing list, and abide by various marketing rules, we can conclude that the Emails we receive are not from anyone who can be trusted.
In addition, there are plenty of warning flags in the above Email: The fact that they are using a gmail account, and not an official domain relating to the payment bureau; The fact that the EMail is generic and does not mention my name; The fact that the from Email is different to the reply to address; The fact that the From address relates to a Turkish university; The fact that the Email is full of grammatical and factual errors (e.g. merging USA & UK)
