I asked “Mr.D.Thomas” for a copy of his passport. He sent me a copy of a British Passport: Thomas Donnelly born 1948 in Belfast.
The “gang” has prepared for such questions. Nothing unusual in such fraud attempts
Some countries write names with the surname “Family name” first, others put the “Family name” last. I have a few examples where they don’t get a name quite right. 🙂
The passport copy would belong to a previous victim, one of those who were persuaded to supply some form of identification.
