    1. Thanks for the feedback, its good to know we are helping.

Its not apparent how this person plans to proceed, but there is plenty to raise suspicion about the Email. First, the from address asdf11@katamail.com is totally different from the reply address and any name mentioned in the Email. Second, they are using a public Email address Outlook.com. Especially as they drew attention to their website, you would expect them to be using @chglsa.com for an Email.

Finally, the content of the Email is generic. It starts “Hello” not “Dear Mr…..”. It then refers to “products”, not a specific item or even a category of items. This isn’t just spamming for business, they are casting a wide net hoping to catch one unfortunate person.

I do not know what they plan to do, but even replying to them you are giving away details, such as a genuine Name, company and Email that could be used for scamming others, or other forms of identity theft.

The conclusion is never trust an Email, due diligence at all times. It only takes seconds to google an Email address, there are a few sites about like Brendinghat to throw up suspicious matches, and we aim to get Emails online whilst the spammer is still sending their bulk Emails.
