Subject: Job Offer (Wrap Advertisement)

Wrap advertising is the marketing practice of completely or partially covering (wrapping) a vehicle in an advertisement or livery, thus turning it into a mobile billboard. This can be achieved by simply painting the vehicle surface, but it is becoming more common today to use large vinyl sheets as decals. These can be removed with relative ease, making it much less expensive to change from one advertisement to another. Vehicles with large, flat surfaces, such as buses and light-rail carriages, are fairly easy to work with, though smaller cars with curved surfaces can also be wrapped in this manner. Wrap advertising is available to anybody irrespective of the vehicle you drive.

  1. You are making comments on a website that publishes Emails that are highly likely to be fishing for a scam victim. Do not reply to the above Email.

  2. DO NOT REPLY TO THE EMAIL ABOVE. IT IS A SCAM. Do an Internet search for “Car-Wrap” scam.

A big warning sign is that they are using generic EMail accounts – btinternet/yahoo If this was genuine, you would be expecting to send Emails to “someone@drinknos.com” but also be warned there are tricks that hide the address you are actually replying to.

In general, never trust an Email no matter how good it sounds. (we know, we have 28K of them sent to our fictitious accounts).

  3. I didn’t get an email but I did receive a check in the mail with no explanation as to what it was for, I did apply to advertise for NOS but never received an email back so I thought it was a scam…now just yesterday I received a check in the mail for over $2000 and just a letter stating to text a certain person before I deposit the check. I used a texting app just to see what it was about and this person replied back to me stating that I should send a copy of my deposit receipt to this person and he will give me more information as to what needs to be done next…I don’t know what to do now…is this a scam or no?

    1. Brendinghat is unable to offer personal advice – There is a public forum geared towards scam victims https://www.scamwarners.com/

We can say that you have a lot of warning flags and we would certainly recommend seeking professional advice before doing anything else.

    2. It’s a scam they have a warning screen that shows it quickly before they give you the email information in this post
