  1. Thanks for the information.Just today i received the mail form the same mail id. How can we find the job and apply for this?

    1. There is no job. This is a scam. You will be asked to make some form of deposit which you will never see again.

      1. Is this really a scam? I just received a job offer from this company and so far no money asked yet. Thanks!

        1. Look at the evidence. This Email appears on this website because it was sent to an address that was created solely as a honeytrap, and subsequently harvested by spammers.

Ask yourself, would an oil company run a recruitment campaign by using a rogue spam list.

Note the Email address of the sender, the domain of consultant.com This domain is used to host advertising links, not as an active recruiting consultancy. (I point out that consultant.com was just a random name chosen by the scammers and nothing to do with this scam).

Finally, the actual correspondence address hr@premieroilguinea-bissau.com is a domain that does not have an associated website. You would expect a genuine company to have a website nowadays. Also of note is that the domain currently appears to have been wiped, no DNS or Whois records appear to exist. (I do not have any info on the implications of this).

        2. I received a job offer frm the company as well, however in their web site they said: Beware of fraudulent job offers

Trace Atlantic Oil ltd is aware of fictitious employment offers being circulated via email or originating from online job boards.

Please note that Trace Atlantic Oil ltd is currently not seeking for any employment and does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, traveling, processing, training or any other fees).

          1. We cannot comment on individual cases as we do not know the full story. We can say that although genuine companies are mentioned in this article, and throughout this website, we have no evidence good or bad against the specific companies. They appear because the spam email we intercepted is trying to impersonate them.

Any job offer, you would need to consider how the initial contact was made. Are you sending Emails to the company email or an obscure Gmail account. If in doubt, get contact details from their website (i.e. independently from your suspect contact) and speak directly to their Human Resources. Again, we decline to comment on your example – we have seen warning flags on genuine mail, and scam Email that did not raise initial suspicions.

  2. I have also got a job offer from Trace Atlantic Oil Limited, even they have sent me the offer letter without any interview but yet no money asked by them.

    1. We cannot comment on individual cases, we do not know the full details or history of your offer. All we can say is that the Email we published on this page was sent to a spam only address and ask ourselves do genuine oil companies recruit by sending out spam?

    1. We are unable to comment or give advice on individual cases. If you have suspicions we would advise you too seek professional advice. There is an active forum at https://www.scamwarners.com/ there are enough experienced users to at least help you in where to seek further advice.
